they don’t hold back..we also get the dirt on the lions’ player who bit.., grewcock….he’s got a history..
and, of course , we also get their take on the spear-tackle on o’driscoll..
it is quite puzzling how new footage shows clearly this was a spear-tackle..to the extent the aussie touch judge yelled at the two all blacks to ‘leave him alone..’
now, i’m no rugby expert, but it does seem to me that touch judges have a much larger role in the policing of a game than in days of yore..some would argue too much so..
so, why is it they will run on to the field and engage the referee at the drop of a ball..
yet this touch judge saw what the ref,(and most others), didn’t see..but just turned his back and walked away..cor!

This is a typical reaction from english, when the wheels fall off the wagon the excuses come out. As Tana Umaga once put it “We are not playing tiddly winks”. It is a physical game where inciddents happen. Decisions are made in moments. I feel for O’Driscoll, he is a world class player and will be sorely missed by the lions but any talk of malice is absolute bollocks.
