this is on the judges investigation of claims our spooks spied/spy on dissident maori groups and individuals..
now, you could say “well, of course they’d say that” and you may well be right…
but my take on that is “well, why aren’t they?”
surely if the brief of the spooks is to spy on us, which it must be, (otherwise what do they bloody do all day?)..
surely the fact some maori groups and individuals are advocating armed struggle and the like would mean a deriliction of duty on the part of the spooks if they didn’t keep an eye on/gather information on these individuals/groups? wouldn’t it?
so this pooh poohing of the claims by hagar and the sunday star times certainly deserves a good hard quizzical look, eh?
