i think the rise of peters will be good for the greens..
peters is yoked in with national…and there are many out there who are horrified by such an idea..peters/brash/henare/mccully/brownlee et.al., having their hands on our country again..
this will cause many to tactically vote for the greens,. so they will be a viable coalition alternative to peters..
what this means is that this will be a four way race peters+brash vs clark+greens..
this and the fact that this election will see the return of alliance voters..many of whom will vote for the greens as the best on offer; also to counter the hated peters…
the endorsment from laila harre at the greens conference will not have gone un noticed in alliance circles…(let’s not forget that at their peak alliance support was in the twenties..)
all in all, unless they screw-up, the greens should do ok this time out..
(n.b. rod donald…your spectacles need to be taken in for a tune-up and wheel balance..)
um, references/comparisons to hitler only lessen your argument and cloud that argument in a fog…
would it not have been more effective/relevant to focus on the horrors of the dawn raids and persecutions of pacific islanders under peters’ mentor, muldoon?
