if we at whoar could just take a moment to pat ourselves on the bag..(nobody else will)..i would just like to say that this is all unfolding just as we here at whoar said it would…
national has passed it’s high point..fear of involvment in the iraq war has caused nat support to head south…
and also as we predicted..that once those former labour supporters in nz first realised a vote for peters was a vote for the dreaded tories peters’ support would soften….
(i would disagree with this writers contention the soft nz first support has flowed to national..surely we wouldn’t have seen a drop in national support if this indeed was the case..?)
and what strengthens the pats on the back for whoar, (and what must deeply depress the nats), is that this surge in labour support is not down to the news of the interest rate on loans ending..
polling ended before that juicy morsel was released…
with that in mind national should steel themselves for a further precipitous drop in support..
and with labour dancing all over national in the house (those pesky leaders debates)…and over 1.5 billion of goodies still to hand out…these must indeed be dark days at nat central….
but, of course, there is a silver lining (of sorts) there for the right..
also as we predicted (while everyone else has been writing them off), act will get back in on the collapse of that national support..(the right will want to retrieve something from the wreckage..and like the rest of us, they realise national are a piss-weak opposition party..)
