our illustrious leader and her minion charged with caring for them, mahary, will hopefully be feeling queasy this morning, after the release of a un report slamming our care of our children.
one sixth of them live in poverty, (with all that implies). how the u.n. judge this is against the average wage; taking an income at under half of the average wage as the mark.
(oh hi, that’s me and the nipper!, trying to get by on a domestic purposes benefit these last six years or so.)
oh, that’s right, labour’s working for families package dosen’t include benificiary parents; we don’t count i think;so me and the nipper will get diddly squat. damm! (Maybe next time for us? please)
only italy,u.s.a. and mexico have higher rates of children being raised in poverty.
and of course we all remember helen’s promise prior to the election in 2002 to end child poverty.
maybe she should send an email or txt to her mate tony; and ask him how he did it.
britain has done best at ending child poverty; cutting it by one quarter this year.
seeing she has done diddly-squat this term of govt; i wonder what she’ll say next time out? no doubt, “vote for us again; you know we’ll take care of it.”
