possibly more than you need to know of the arcane art of weather forecasting..
(and can i add to the chorus of people who think tv weather people just bang on a bit too much…we don’t really need to know quite that degree of information about what’s happened..though i guess they spend so much time there because that is the one thing they are guaranteed to get right…anyway, we’ve already lived it thanks; we don’t need your facial twitchs to signpost the highs and lows of our weather day just gone)
all we need is a quick glance at a map, a few simple graphics..will it be sunny or will it piss down? and a warning of upcoming typhoons and the like..say your piece quickly and efficiently, and then just leave,… please……
if i was in that world i’d be working on developing a computerised weather-thingy…get that right, do it with humour and personality, and you’ll have a winner and a great lead-in to the 7pm barndance..
