the maori party is going to make a concerted pitch for the expatriot vote..
they estimate there are 100,000 maori residing in oz, and that 70,000 of them are eligible to vote here..
they will be holding public meetings in the main cities..and working the media/networks..
i can see this working for the maori party…the only other party this could work well for is the greens…sharing a “tribal” following, as they do..
i reckon the greens should send nandor (and jeannette?) (with an easy-use how to vote package/media kit in his hot hand), to oz, to attempt the same feat..
these two would be best to send, because of the media attention they could garner…..and the wide net they would cast (as in trans-generational voter appeal)..
get those green votes in aussie!
