and yes – wage-equality should/must be extended to 16 yr olds..
should we hold our breath..?..waiting for labour to do something..?
or do labour plan to just carry on with our low-wage/high cost of living economy..?..(say it isn’t so..!.)
an economy that (for low-wage workers) puts the ‘slave’ into slave-labour..
is it as i fear..?..that little/labour are hoping to ‘bore’ their way into office..
(‘bore’ def: gain office by offering little (pun intended) and hope electorate gets/is sick of the opposition..)
The Labour leader said the policy ‘should apply to all workers’ when challenged on Labour’s General Election manifesto policy to raise the hourly rate for all adult workers.
Currently under-18s only have to be paid £4.05 an hour while other younger age groups are not required to be paid the national £7.50 rate.
