(ed: disclaimer/testimonial: i was addicted to heroin for about 20 yrs – and also have had addictions to tobacco/alcohol/barbiturates/ powdered-cocaine/crack-cocaine…
i went cold-turkey when i shed those various skins – with the exception that i used cannabis in every case to help ease the gnarlies of/from withdrawals..
and based upon those experiences i would recommend that cannabis be offered/prescribed to anyone trying to kick anything..
and of course my withdrawal paths would have been further eased had i been able to go to a cannabis dispensary and to specify what i wanted the cannabis to do (high in cbd’s/whatever)..
so that’s all i have to add to this debate – those experiences..
and to confirm that cannabis is indeed a medicine..
a medicine that helped me..time and time again..)
Feeling a bit anxious and stressed these days?
