Women are likely to feel their sex drive be at its highest during ovulation – about 14 days before they get their next period – according to researchers.
As anyone with a vagina will tell you there are a bunch of non-hormonal factors that affect sex drive.
Show me a pair of Crocs, for example and I’ll show you one very very dry vagina.
(ed:..hey..!..hey..!..enough already..!..the croc fightback starts here..
i own a pair of crocs – and yes i still wear them..as recently as yesterday..
they are black in colour – of course! – (see pic..i wear croc ‘bistro pro’ models..)
and of those vile pastels with holes all over them are a croc too far – and are responsible i feel for the croc becoming the (undeserved) outcast of footwear..
but not the ‘bistro pro’..
you are walking on rubber – they are exceedingly comfortable to wear – and are perhaps at their best as a form of house-shoe..yer standard slippers are germ-infested messes after not very long – but not yer croc..it’s rubber – just wash it..
they are also brilliant to use/wear when banging around in the garden..once again..should they get dirty/muddy..just hose them down..
and in a similar vein they are also great for taking dogs for walks in soggy parks..once again..just rinse the mud off..and as good as new..
..walking up streams – on hot black-sand beaches..so many places where yr standard animal-skin footwear is worse than useless..
..and certainly for me at least – as a vegan – who avoids cladding myself in animal skins/bye-products – a significant plus for yer croc is that there are no animal bits in them..and no need to even wonder if there is horse-hoof in the glue holding them together..
so come on..!..think for yerself..!..don’t follow the herd-mentality with this lazy denunciation of a noble utilitarian shoe.!
wear/buy some crocs..!..(black..of course..and if wanting to style it down ponsonby road..of course the ‘bistro pro’ model would be yer best bet…)
..and just stare down the scoffers..and know it is you who are doing the right thing..
say it loud – and say it proud..!..’yes..!..i wear crocs.!..(black ones – ‘bistro pro’ model – of course)’..
But it makes sense that these chemical messengers that control most major bodily functions should affect our sexual function too.
For a long time scientists didn’t bother to find out anything about female sexual desire (presumably because they thought we didn’t have any).
It’s been well established that libido tends to decrease with age – particularly after menopause.
But the handful of studies that attempted to look at changing hormonal levels and sexual desire during a period cycle have largely proved inconclusive.
Until a study published in 2013 in the journal Hormones and Behavior in 2013 found evidence of a correlation between the two.
